Paromita Chatterjee has been an anchor and senior editor with India's top broadcasters spanning more than 13 years. During this period, Paromita has produced and moderated shows across diverse themes and with some of the biggest names in the corporate arena as well as political thinkers and key government representatives.
Some of the key themes and stories she has been associated with include - equity markets, the global and domestic economy, corporate governance and associated themes, corruption and its domino impact on the economy and companies...To name a few
She began her career in 1999 with CNBC-TV 18 (a partnership between TV 18 and CNBC US), where she was part of the core team which set up India's first business channel.
As Anchor/News Editor for the primetime markets band, she has been the face of top rated shows such as Bazaar, India Market Wrap, India Business Day.
In 2005, she joined CNN-IBN (a JV between CNN and GBN) as Business Editor, where she spearheaded several award winning shows
She joined ET Now the business channel from the Times Television Network as Senior Consultant and Editor in 2009.
Paromita holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Masters in Mass Communication with specialisation in Film and Television production
